1. Make something of - (노력하여) ~을 이루다, 성공하다, ~을 가치 있게 만들다.

• Despite his difficult childhood, he was determined to make something of himself.
• She used her artistic talents to make something of her passion.
• The community program helps young people make something of their lives.
• He studied day and night, hoping to make something of his education.
• They invested all their savings to make something of their small business.

영화/드라마 속 예시:

• 빌리 엘리어트 (Billy Elliot) - 윌케슨 선생님이 빌리에게 재능을 낭비하지 말라고 격려할 때
  "You must promise me you'll make something of yourself."
